StopWatch youth group and IARS respond to Home Office consultation on police powers

StopWatch and IARS response to the Home Office on the Consultation on Police Powers to Promote and Maintain Public Order

StopWatch and IARS respond to the Home Office consultation on police powers, focusing specifically on the implications of the proposals for young people in the UK. The new powers would give police new powers to request removal of face coverings and to impose curfew to prevent and control outbreaks of disorder. The submission draws on experience and research and a survey of young people.
