The Royal College of Policing is the professional body for policing. Its role is primarily to offer training and guidance for the best practice policing in England and Wales. Following consultation from a range of stakeholders, the College published the updated version of the stop and search guidance online in 2016. After carefully examining this new guidance on stop and search, StopWatch has produced a written response to the consultation.
